- ABSTRACT: The most perspective method for driving of induction motors is the frequency control. The semiconductor frequency converters are the main technical solution to implement it. The three-phase inverter bridge scheme with transistor – diode elements are the most used frequency converter components for control of alternative current rotating machines using the principle of sinusoidal pulse width modulation – SPWM. The paper deals with results of study on current harmonic components in induction motor drive with SPWM control based on simulation model in MATLAB-Simulink environment.
